Beauty therapy has a wide scope of treatments and is a huge industry. I was a fresh graduate back in 2004, finishing my studies with Australasian and European diplomas.
The last 19 years I have been a part of that wide scope within the beauty industry, working locally and internationally I have experienced many different environments that the beauty world offers, such as working in luxury spa’s to the fast pace of franchise skin clinics. I’ve also worked for myself and roughly the last 10 years have aligned myself with clinics that need techs specialising in advanced skin therapies. One thing for me that has never wavered is remaining authentic with clients. In an industry that is so heavily influenced by looks and products that claim to “fix” us, I believe it is important to focus on skin health and feeling empowered with the choices we make.
I am a self-confessed skin nerd; I’m forever learning I love dermal science and dermal nutrition. Knowledge is power and I’m all about providing a skin experience that leaves you feeling excited and in control of your skin health journey. By keeping our treatment list smaller we can filter out the “noise” of fad beauty treatments and focus on keeping your beauty regimen effective, simple, relaxing, and of course safe.
